There's a folder in my documents called "DVD" that's associated with this program, it contains 4GB of video/misc data from the burning process I assume. I don't have much space on my PC and I was wondering if after I burn a file to DVD, can I delete the contents of that folder to save space?

Yes, you can delete the folder because it just a backup of the previously burned DVD. However, I would check the data again before deleting it. But after you check it, and it's OK, the folder can be deleted, because it won't have an impact on your system's functionality. I mean that it's not related to the system's files. Just make sure to delete only that folder.
When I installed it, it took 2hrs to encode and about 45mins to finish completely. Now after just the 2nd project it takes 12 hrs just for the video encoding. Why?

Every time you change an option making it higher than the standard settings, the encoding time increases a lot. Try closing the application and then initiating a new encoding procedure. Make sure that you select proper settings and don't touch the bit rate settings or you'll experience high encoding time.
According to the information presented by users, error 53 is related to the user's rights on the computer where the application is running. First uninstall the application then install it again but make sure to select Run as Administrator after you right click it and it should work.
DVD Flick is not working. When the Finish button appears there is a second window showing "Buffering". Then, after the DVD pops-out, it doesn't do anything. Can you help?

In order to fix the DVD Flick problems, I suggest you upgrade the application to the latest version. You can download and install it free of charge from the official web page. After that, when you want to create a DVD, make sure you follow the instructions from the official user manual.
